Erica + Chad had so many beautiful moments on their wedding day. St. Joseph the Worker Parish, is oh so beautiful. I’m always thrilled when a couple tells me they’re getting married there! The couple held their reception in a friend's real, WORKING barn – which we’re not used to. The barns we have photographed in the past, have been completely renovated barns or barns that were built specifically for wedding receptions. We were stunned to see how big, bright, beautiful and so well decorated this barn was! Not to mention, if we wouldn’t have actually seen the animals, we would have never known they were even there!
Let’s talk about their family and friends – what a FUN bridal party! The ladies were so tentative to the bride. The gentlemen were hilarious – and everyone was so helpful to us throughout the whole day. This wedding will go down in the books as one of the most emotional weddings we’ve photographed. We could quickly tell, that this was one WELL LOVED couple. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house....or barn ;-)....during the I dos, first dance, maid of honor speech, best man speech, father daughter dance, mother son dance....the whole day was just beautiful and everyone was so honored to be a part of Erica + Chad’s day!
Congratulations again to the newlyweds, Mr. + Mrs. Hostrander! We wish you all the happiness in the world!
I’d also like to give a quick shout out to Kevin Head Entertainment! He is BY FAR the most photography aware DJ we have ever worked alongside! He checked in with us before every event and made sure all events happened in a setting that was ideal for us photographers. Brides + Grooms work so hard on their day, and deserve to have their memories captured in the best environments. Often times, we need to scurry around guests to capture, “the shot” and we’re okay with that, because that’s our job! However, Kevin made sure we were set and ready before each event began AND he always asked what angles WE wanted the events to occur in….”do you want the Bride and Groom to face their guests, away from their guests, toward this light, or that light?” We were SO spoiled! Thanks so much Kevin, you rock!!
